Northern Property REIT is in search of a proficient Journeyman Oil Burner Mechanic to enhance our Residential division. In this vital position, you will ensure the safety and operational efficiency of our properties, collaborating closely with our Maintenance Technicians.

Position: Journeyman Oil Burner Mechanic

Company: Northern Property REIT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute plumbing and renovation tasks in accordance with work orders and specifications.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues with oil burners, assemble components of heating systems, and guarantee their proper operation.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems.
  • Prepare materials lists for sealift and assist in managing inventory.
  • Engage in emergency call-out rotations and occasional travel as required.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Oil Burner Mechanic/Oil Heat Systems Technician journeyman's ticket is essential.
  • A class 5 driver's license and a clean criminal background check are mandatory.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in property management or facilities maintenance.
  • A strong work ethic, ability to work as part of a team, and a commitment to safety are crucial.
