GBi is looking for a mechanical engineer with expertise in regulation and control to enhance our building systems team for various projects in institutional and commercial sectors. The successful applicant will engage in initiatives for municipalities, private sector developers, and industrial enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Design automated regulation systems for building mechanics;
- Formulate strategies for intricate automatic regulation, with a solid understanding of ventilation, plumbing, heating, and electrical systems;
- Choose measurement and control devices (including valves, transmitters, frequency converters);
- Participate in system commissioning and performance validation;
- Review and approve engineering drawings;
- Keep the standard drawing repository updated.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A bachelor's degree in building mechanics or control;
- Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge in regulation, control, and integration for building systems;
- Strong organizational abilities and a collaborative mindset;
- Consulting experience is advantageous;
- A valid driver's license;
- Proficiency in French and practical knowledge of English.
