About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Concierge at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our residential services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage resident relations and provide excellent service to all residents and visitors
  • Communicate with residents, guests, and employees in a professional manner
  • Anticipate and respond to resident issues/situations promptly and take appropriate action to rectify concerns
  • Display knowledge of all services, facilities, and features of our community and promote them to residents as appropriate
  • Maintain a visible and accessible profile
  • Provide information and respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff, referring to appropriate personnel as necessary
  • Coordinate all taxi and courtesy shuttle bookings for residents and communicate with Chauffeur and Door Attendant
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all residents and support other departments, including dining, sales, maintenance, housekeeping, and chauffer
  • Receive all incoming packages/deliveries to the facility
  • Assist residents and families with luggage, parcels, and arrange carts/dollies as necessary
  • Maintain access control to the building and manage the main entrance in cooperation with the Door Attendant
  • Responsible for overall resident satisfaction and necessary follow-up to any service concerns
  • Promote a safety culture by continuously working safely, identifying and reporting hazards, following safe work practices and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment, supporting others to work safely, and completing safety education
  • Committed to adhering to all of our company's Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about working with seniors and has experience in the hospitality industry or a related field. You should have a high school education (or equivalent) and an Office Administration/Professional Secretarial diploma or University Degree is preferred. You should also have 1-2 years of experience in a client services or administrative role, strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, excellent verbal and written skills, and strong computer literacy skills. You should be available to work a schedule of flexible hours, including days, evenings, and all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Advanced proficiency in the English language is required, and proficiency in other languages is considered an asset.
