Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, and communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and promote a culture of excellence within the organization.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in high-risk antepartum and postpartum nursing is preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) and registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) are required.
- Recent Maternity/Nursery experience.
