Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Cadillac Fairview. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shopping centre, ensuring that all facilities and services are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure the timely achievement of department goals
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance and productivity
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of annual operating expense and capital budgets
- Coordinate the completion of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work
- Oversee all construction performed by external trade contractors
- Order necessary parts and services required to maintain efficient operation of the Centre
- Prepare accurate and concise reports to management
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures to ensure the building is safe for all occupants and users
Requirements:
- Grade or equivalent
- Diploma in Building Environmental Systems offered through Community College
- Stationary Engineer Class Certificate, SMA (BOMA) or Building Environmental Systems II
- Minimum years experience in physical Operations management, with at least years supervisory experience, preferably in a shopping centre, office or mixed use environment
- Thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures, plumbing/carpentry skills, current technology, HVAC, electrical/mechanical systems, PM Program - Maximo, and Computer literacy
