About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Dancyn Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, and administer benefits programs.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced office environment with a team of professionals.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
