Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring LPN to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in the Vancouver Island region, British Columbia.

Contract Details
  • Contract duration: 3-6 months (dependent on availability) with possibility of extension
  • Short-term contracts also available
Location and Start Date

Duncan, BC and Ladysmith, BC

Start date: ASAP

Compensation and Benefits
  • $45.00 per hour + travel allowance + accommodation + weekly allowance
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform assessments
  • Plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
  • Directly supervise care staff to meet resident's needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
Job Type and Pay
  • Casual
  • $45.00 per hour
Additional Pay and Schedule
  • Overtime pay
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift, evening shift, night shift, on call
