Job Summary

Moose Trucking is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS technology to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate with dispatch and other teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
