Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to join our team at Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation. As a key member of our Mission Delivery staff team, you will be responsible for managing designated programs and ensuring their success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and develop professional and volunteer program leadership
  • Monitor program performance and address concerns as they arise
  • Develop strategic plans for growth and identify gaps in programming
  • Develop and implement new programs
  • Manage stakeholder relations with partnered programs
  • Provide program leadership where relevant
  • Coordinate program activities, including scheduling, mentoring, and supply acquisition
  • Supervise and mentor the Centre Coordinator
  • Participate in and contribute to the Mission Delivery staff team
  • Support Wellspring's culture of philanthropy

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a non-profit setting, preferably related to health and/or wellness
  • University degree in social work, social services, health administration, child life, or a related field
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • High degree of organization, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Understanding of the impact of cancer on individuals and families
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
