Pizza Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at ALBERTA LTD O/A PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence in our kitchen.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-food outlet or concession.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast food outlet or concession environment.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • English language proficiency.
