Role Overview

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be instrumental in implementing key functionalities of CapIntel's offerings. Collaborating with a talented team of developers, designers, and product managers, you will contribute to the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of our platform. Your expertise in user interface design will ensure seamless integration with backend services, consistently meeting and exceeding user expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development:

  • Partner with UX/UI designers to convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX concepts.

Performance Optimization:

  • Enhance applications for optimal speed and scalability, utilizing techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and effective state management.
  • Establish comprehensive frontend testing strategies using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium to guarantee application reliability and usability.

Collaboration:

  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives and support quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs, ensuring seamless functionality across the application.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, staying informed about modern technologies and best practices to enhance the development lifecycle.

Mentorship:

  • Guide Junior and Intermediate Engineers in their technical growth, assisting them in overcoming challenges.
  • Exemplify technical excellence and innovation, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth within the team.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies and frameworks, advocating for their adoption to enhance product performance and development workflows.
  • Maintain high-quality standards through regular code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices in software development.
Qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience as a frontend or full-stack developer.
  • Proficiency with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS).
  • Experience with large cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in writing automated tests to ensure application reliability.
  • Knowledge of T3 Tech Stack, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Ability to diagnose and prevent performance and optimization issues.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and propose iterative solutions.
