Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team at 1535179 ALBERTA LTD. DBA ROOMI HOLDING. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across national routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Operate flatbed trucks to transport materials, ensuring cargo safety through proper tarping and handling transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections, perform brake adjustments and emergency repairs, and execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Logistics Coordination: Communicate effectively with central dispatch, record cargo details, service hours, distance, and fuel use, and manage payments for goods.
  • Teamwork: Operate as part of a two-person team or convoy, providing guidance to colleagues on innovative work approaches and demonstrating excellent skills in mountain driving.
Requirements
  • Certifications and License: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and any other required certifications.
  • Work Experience: Have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions and Capabilities: Be able to sit for extended periods, have attention to detail, and possess sound judgement.
