We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire #065. Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet our high standards.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently and effectively.
- Establish work schedules that meet the needs of the store and our customers.
- Sell merchandise and promote our products to customers to drive sales growth.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is always stocked with the products our customers want.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
