Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer of electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling oil-cooled transformers. We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in London, ON.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect inbound material, work in process, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete dock audits and verification of associates' paperwork, creating reports as needed.
- Assist with investigations regarding non-conformances and ensure output meets quality standards.
- Test finished products to ensure all requirements are met prior to shipping.
- Use technical skills and knowledge to identify problems and inspect causes.
- Accurately document the results of inspections to review and maintain records using electronic systems.
- Follow all health and safety precautions and policies enforced.
- Communicate with the shift Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager regarding production progress.
- Ensure all steps are completed throughout the processing of customer products.
- Understand and develop a daily routine to complete tasks and reporting in a timely manner.
- Support other departments as needed based on qualifications.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of quality-specific work experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Physical ability to perform job requirements, including bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, standing for long periods, walking, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 50lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
- English written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to take ownership of position and job duties.
- Analytical skills and strong time management.
- Great attendance is a critical requirement.
