As a Senior Quality Assurance and Operations Developer at Trend Micro, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the quality standards of our products and operational processes. This role requires collaboration with various teams, mentorship of junior QA engineers, and the formulation of testing strategies aimed at delivering superior software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy Development: Formulate detailed test plans aligned with project specifications.
  • Test Design and Execution: Implement and execute testing strategies to verify software functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform diverse testing methodologies to detect and rectify defects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, including testing and operational roles.
  • Expertise in AWS/Azure and cloud-native architectures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of version control systems and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A proactive mindset and a dedication to continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

  • Background in Site Reliability Engineering with an emphasis on SLO/SLIs.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance in cloud environments.
