Physiotherapist - Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As a Primary Care Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical follow-up and care to patients in accordance with their primary care plan and personal goals.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and implement plans of care that promote optimal health outcomes.
- Support patients and families to achieve and maintain optimal health through education, counseling, and other interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in primary care.
- Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
- Two (2) years of experience in acute care, long-term care, or community settings.
- Valid BC Driver's license where required.
- Teaching experience and ability to educate clients and others in groups.
- Knowledge of best practices and current research evidence to support professional practice decisions and actions.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve and make decisions effectively.
- Leadership and management skills, including the ability to promote staff morale, engagement, and innovation.
