  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle for various Android projects, aimed at diverse payment processing devices, such as mobile POS systems and unattended terminals.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain user-centric mobile applications specifically for Android.
  • Oversee the complete stack and lifecycle of primary software applications from concept to deployment.
  • Develop intricate software solutions that have significant organizational or client implications.
  • Guide and mentor fellow software developers to enhance their skills and share knowledge.

Moneris Career Opportunity - Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software development or business intelligence.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Android mobile application development.
  • Expertise in Java and Kotlin.
  • Strong ability to navigate and modify C/C++ code as necessary for new requirements or bug resolutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end applications on Android.
  • Proven experience in building mobile applications using Java, Kotlin, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Router, HTML5, and CSS3 on Android.
  • Familiarity with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Practical experience working within an agile framework (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Proficient in Jira/Confluence with advanced user capabilities.
