Print Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Print Production Supervisor to join our team at Helix Impressions Inc. in a permanent role.
Job Summary:The Print Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality prints, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare production reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including printing machine operators and staff in various areas of responsibility.
- Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Oversee the operation of the printing press and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Review and approve all job proofs or samples to ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to meet production deadlines.
- Ensure that all employees follow health and safety regulations and report any incidents or near-misses.
- Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and improve productivity.
- Provide technical and professional advice to employees and management.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
The Print Production Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
