Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Property Field Adjusters to enhance our Field Claims team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, and we are looking for candidates across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site and/or virtual assessments of personal and commercial insurance claims.
  • Document the extent of damages and prepare repair estimates for claim resolution.
  • Review and validate vendor estimates to ensure appropriateness of pricing and scope.
  • Engage with insured parties, third parties, witnesses, and legal representatives to gather essential information.
  • Analyze facts, insurance policies, technical reports, and legal precedents to make informed decisions regarding coverage and claim value.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while keeping all stakeholders updated on claim progress.
  • Ensure data integrity and manage the issuance of payments to insured parties, vendors, and other insurers.
  • Provide assistance during catastrophic events within Canada.
  • Communicate with various parties involved in the claim process, including lawyers, insured individuals, brokers, and other interested entities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Adjuster handling both Personal and Commercial Lines claims.
  • Strong expertise in Property Insurance.
  • Preference for candidates skilled in assessing damages and preparing repair estimates.
  • Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
