About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at KANHA BUILDING MAINTENANCE INC. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office building and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as emptying trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners and other equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment as needed.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure the efficient completion of tasks.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
