Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asset Remarketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Management, Asset Remarketing & Recovery team, you will play a pivotal role in helping us maximize the return on the sale of repossessed or end-of-lease equipment while minimizing costs. This role requires excellent collaboration with internal and external partners, as well as strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of equipment returns and resale values
  • Develop and maintain a diverse network of contacts, including appraisers, remarketing centre partners, and repair facilities
  • Negotiate and finalize sales transactions, ensuring all items are sold free and clear of any liens
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies and procedures within and between departments
  • Collaborate with the risk-management team to identify future best practices and protect our investments
Requirements
  • Construction and transportation equipment background
  • Experience in asset management, asset remarketing, or relevant fields
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to recognize equipment, transaction, and portfolio-related risks and opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows simultaneously
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Word and Excel
