Job Summary

Transport Eric Huberdeau Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy vehicles and ensuring the efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate with other team members as needed.
  • Work Schedule: Work a variable schedule of 40 to 60 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French is required.
