  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the quality and safety of care, making adjustments as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve care delivery and client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the OIIQ or OIIAQ, with a valid Nursing License.
  • At least five years of recent experience in nursing, preferably in a community setting, with progressive responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Geriatric care, community health, or social work experience is an asset.
