We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at 2712147 Ontario Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Shape and finish wood surfaces and edges using hand tools and machinery.
- Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate production of wood products.
- Assemble and fit parts together to form complete units, using joints and adhesives as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Work with a variety of wood species and materials, including laminated plastics.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
The Cabinetmaker will work in a well-equipped workshop with a variety of tools and machinery. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The Cabinetmaker will work 33 to 40 hours per week.
