Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective instructional strategies tailored to the course objectives.
- Facilitate a conducive learning atmosphere within the classroom and laboratory settings.
- Assess and document student performance through appropriate evaluation methods.
- Modify curriculum content as necessary to enhance educational outcomes.
- Support students with diverse learning requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed about industry standards and educational practices.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Adhere to academic policies and regulations established by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
- Possession of an engineering technology diploma or degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- Eligibility for certification with SASTT as an A.Sc.T. or with APEGS as a P.Eng.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the Environmental and/or Water Resources engineering sector.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and effective teaching skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity.
