Job Overview

The Technical Records Clerk reports to the Maintenance Planner and is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of aircraft technical records. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, research, and analysis, as well as administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update aircraft engine and propeller logs
  • Maintain Component History Cards
  • Manage the Technical Library (updates, circulations, filing, etc.)
  • Data entry of aircraft airtimes, cycles, inspections, removals, and installations into company systems

Research and Analysis

  • Technical Dispatch Audit journey logs daily for accuracy, defects, and serviceability
  • Prepare aircraft dispatch lists and fleet status reports

Administrative Support

  • Ensure requested documents are prepared and delivered in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Technical Records, Accounting, or Business Administration training an asset
  • Previous work experience in an aviation and/or parts environment an asset
  • Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Enhanced Reliability Clearance
  • Must be willing to travel

Hours of Work

  • Must be able to work a rotational shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm)
