MNP's Assurance and Accounting team is a dynamic and diverse group of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a trusted advisor, you'll play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of financial reporting and make informed decisions with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and provide expert advice to clients on financial reporting and compliance matters.
- Manage multiple client files simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of engagements.
- Perform financial statement preparation, review, and audit services, including compilation and review of financial statements.
- Develop and implement effective financial planning and budgeting strategies for clients.
- Assess and assure the appropriateness of financial evidence for expenses, revenues, capital asset additions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and prepaid expenses.
- Review and investigate discrepancies and irregularities in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and charts of accounts.
- Prepare and present technical reports, client summaries, and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts, and highlights.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- CPA designation.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant public accounting experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience working with accounting and tax software.
- Understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
