Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods and materials.
  • Plan and execute routes, taking into account traffic, weather, and road conditions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of sitting and driving.
