Fortinet Software Release QA Specialist

Fortinet is seeking a skilled Software Release QA Specialist to join the FortiClient QA Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our endpoint security product, FortiClient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute regression testing on FortiClient using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Develop and maintain test specifications and test cases to ensure the product meets our high standards.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects found during testing.
  • Document and publish release notes, user guides, and reference materials for new product releases.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of software testing or developing experience.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, and routing and switching.
  • Experience with virtual machine environments, such as VMware or ESXi.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of firewalls, Linux, and network protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of IPSec, SSL VPN, data encryption, and authentication.
  • Experience with programming or scripting skills, such as Python or Perl.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with other departments.
