Position Summary
As an Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in refining integration processes and establishing new integration policies. You will collaborate with an Integration team focused on providing innovative tools and technologies for the Battlefield Franchise, working in close partnership with fellow engineers and testers. Integration Engineers address challenges presented by other engineering teams by analyzing data to identify and resolve issues. Additionally, you will manage continuous integration systems and maintain comprehensive records of integration procedures and outcomes.

Key Qualifications

  • A robust background in software engineering
  • Familiarity with a variety of tools and technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability and thorough knowledge, with the ability to engage with unfamiliar code in C++, C#, Groovy, or Python
  • Capability to utilize automated test results and version control records to ensure high-quality builds

Daily Responsibilities

  • Respond to continuous integration alerts by conducting preliminary analyses and directing them to the appropriate team
  • Maintain and enhance the build production toolchain
  • Integrate code/data from the development branch to the release branch
  • Integrate code from the engine development branch to the game development branch

Essential Experience

  • Prior experience in Release Engineering or Integration Engineering
  • Generalist with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in C++
  • Experience with a version control system
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in debugging code and identifying defects
  • Familiarity with continuous integration or build systems
  • Experience with Visual Studio and the C++ compiler and linker

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in the gaming industry
  • Experience in engineering roles within game software development
