About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Uniform Garment (N.A.) Ltd. as a Plant Machinery Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant machinery, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in plant machinery, identifying the root cause and implementing corrective actions.
  • Equipment Installation: Install new plant machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test plant machinery to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plant machinery maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of plant machinery, electrical and electronic controls, lathes, power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
