Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

PANJAAB TRANSPORT is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to oversee the operational logistics of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing operational logistics, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
  • Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • or equivalent experience
Work Setting:
  • Transportation
  • Trucking company

  • 35 hours per week
