Job Description

Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electronic systems, ensuring they are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electronic systems, including testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Calibration and Testing: Ensure that test equipment is calibrated regularly and perform tests to verify the accuracy of electronic systems.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, including spare parts and equipment, and perform annual inventory checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that maintenance and repair activities are completed efficiently and effectively, and submit reports as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are performed to the highest standards of quality, and that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of a college diploma in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics maintenance and repair, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of electronic systems, including RF, CATV, CCTV, PA/intercom, and automated control systems. Knowledge of communications in GP test equipment, commercial and personal computers, and their peripherals. Proficiency in MS Office Suite software.
  • Language: Fluency in French is essential, with bilingualism an asset.
