The position encompasses two primary responsibilities: 1) innovating and enhancing tools and features for audio processing and coding aimed at immersive and interactive environments, leveraging artificial intelligence and sophisticated signal processing techniques; 2) mentoring graduate students and synthesizing their contributions into a cohesive solution.
The work environment will be dynamic, involving collaboration with graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and various research professionals who possess extensive experience in audio compression and standardization processes.
Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated expertise.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related disciplines, with a focus on signal processing, audio compression, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
