We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sunhouse Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
