About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at School District #43 (Coquitlam). As a Carpenter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our school facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform carpentry tasks, including construction, repair, and maintenance of school buildings and facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and school staff to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of carpentry operations.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in carpentry, with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
