Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members, to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
- Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, authorize payments by cheque, and order merchandise to ensure the store is well-stocked and running efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and processing shipments, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Team Development: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including office and volunteer staff, to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
