We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Inpatient team at the Kelowna General Hospital in beautiful Kelowna, B.C.
The successful candidate will provide nursing care to cardiac patients, working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team. They will enhance quality of life for patients and families, consult with other healthcare providers, and demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing.
This is a relief full-time opportunity until January 31, 2025, or return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
About the LocationKelowna is home to the new Interior Heart and Surgical Centre (IHSC) at Kelowna General Hospital, built in 2015. The new Regional Cardiac Revascularization Program provides residents of the British Columbia Interior with the cardiac care they need, right here in the heart of the Okanagan Valley.

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Successful completion of a recognized Basic Cardiac Course (which includes telemetry) within the last six (6) months or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. BCLS within 3 years.
