Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Fed Finance Canada. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Process and reconcile financial transactions, including pay instalments and personal and corporate tax balances for branches.
  • Sales Tax Management: Prepare and submit sales tax returns and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inventory Management: Reserve inventory dates and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Payroll Administration: Make required changes to franchisee remuneration in the payroll system.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare documents required by department managers, including financial reports and other supporting documents.
  • Project Support: Assist the supervisor with various projects and initiatives.
  • Spreadsheet Design: Design and maintain spreadsheets and tables using Excel software.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Program loss reports in AX and gross profit reports in Micro Strategy for inventory counts.
  • Business Development: Prepare documentation for the management team with the various parties involved in new branch acquisitions and franchisee changes.
  • Branch Support: Update branch lists and follow up on leases.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general office work, including processing mail, taking calls, and filing financial statements and other documents.
