About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Real Estate Finance team at National Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financing granted to our clients, working closely with our Portfolio Management Directors and Account Managers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send letters and follow up on documents for annual reviews, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Conduct credit analyses, including maturing loans, in accordance with the Bank's standards, and provide recommendations to ensure optimal risk management.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to obtain feedback on draft credit applications, modify them as necessary to meet the Bank's requirements, and ensure they align with our profitability, quality of presentation, and risk analysis standards.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities with business development, support, and partner teams to drive growth and revenue.
  • Participate in internal continuous process improvement projects to enhance our operations and services.

About Your Team:

You will be part of a dynamic team of approximately 10 colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Management Team. Our team is known for its rigor and collaborative spirit, and we are committed to expanding our market presence across Canada.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience in banking or finance.
  • Knowledge of banking products, systems, and services is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas concisely.
