Job Title: Janitor

B.C. LTD. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs. Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Support Services: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.

Working Conditions: 40 hours per week, permanent position. Language of work: English.
