We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Dspot Dessert Cafe. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
