The architect ensures that the developed solutions are not only scalable and secure but also economically viable.
This position plays a crucial role in establishing a streamlined, user-friendly analytics environment that promotes collaboration among data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts. The aim is to facilitate data analysis and the development of machine learning models on a cohesive platform, integrating seamlessly with services such as Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
The architect will uphold the organization's best practices, policies, and user support standards while being responsible for the implementation and management of a robust information security framework to safeguard cloud data. Key responsibilities include ensuring that all essential systems and processes are effectively operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute cloud-centric solutions that align with the organization's operational requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and translate them into technical specifications.
- Guarantee that the solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
- Uphold the organization's best practices, policies, and user support standards.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive information security framework to protect cloud data.
- Oversee backend services including Azure cloud and Databricks.
- Develop Notebook commands and configure workspaces.
- Utilize Azure Databricks connectors for external data source integration.
- Ingest data from external streaming sources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT development and design.
- Prior experience with cloud technologies is preferred.
- Advanced understanding of IT operations, networking, virtualization, and security.
- Technical expertise in designing cloud and hybrid solutions on Azure.
