Job Title: Structural Engineering Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Technician to join our team at Tech-Wood Building Components Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our building components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings for our building components.
  • Field Surveys and Inspections: Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Coordination: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for our projects.
  • Engineering Support: Provide technical support to our engineering team and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of building codes and regulations, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in engineering software.
