Position Overview

The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers at Nila Dosa & Curry Restaurant. This position involves various responsibilities that contribute to the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the food service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
  • Service Duties: Provide clean dishes, utensils, and other items to serving areas while setting tables appropriately.
  • Sanitation: Clean and sanitize equipment such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a tidy dining environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers effectively to wash dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Storage: Place dishes in designated storage areas following proper protocols.
  • Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas as needed.
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when necessary.
  • Take-Out Services: Package take-out food efficiently for customer convenience.
  • Food Portioning: Portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Customer Interaction: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, ensuring excellent service.
  • Order Management: Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Food Preparation Tools: Utilize manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim food items.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • Cleaning Duties: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
