RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

  • Execute assigned tasks efficiently under the guidance of the Project Foreperson.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprint designs for various projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols established by Modern Niagara to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Undertake additional related responsibilities as directed by the Project Foreperson.
  • Pursue continuous learning and skill enhancement to refine your craft.
  • Engage in building some of Canada's most distinguished mechanical projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in installing plumbing and piping systems in residential, commercial, institutional, or healthcare settings is advantageous.
  • Journeypersons must possess a Red Seal trade qualification.
  • UA union membership is required upon hiring.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights with completed safety training.
  • A safety-conscious individual who follows all site safety measures.
  • Strong work ethic with exceptional mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • A motivated individual eager to learn and advance in their role.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with the ability to mentor junior apprentices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
