Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at 10042749 Canada Inc. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for constructing and installing steel studs and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
Requirements
  • Working at heights training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Bondable
  • Criminal record check
Work Environment

As a Steel Stud Framer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.
