Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telephone Line Technician to join our team at IntactX Inc. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telephone equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable signals and associated equipment.
  • Equipment Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers, as well as splice, join, and connect wires.
  • Network Testing and Troubleshooting: Test trunking systems, locate transmission faults, and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
  • Customer Support: Instruct apprentices and complete and maintain test and service reports.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures, and bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
