About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team at ITALGEMME INC. as a Facilities Maintenance Assistant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a combination of sweeping and mopping techniques.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust all furniture and fixtures, and polish any surfaces as required.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning: Vacuum all carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and clean any surfaces as required.
  • Stocking and Cleaning Supplies: Restock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfecting and Sanitizing: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas as required.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks as required.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
  • Weight Handling: Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs) as required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Benefits: Transportation provided by employer, travel insurance, and a temporary employment contract.
