About the Opportunity

WSP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Quality Modeler to lead and direct water quality modeling and assessment work in the Canadian mining sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement water quality models to assess and predict water quality impacts
  • Lead and direct water quality modeling and assessment work, including data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate water quality modeling into project planning and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their water quality needs and concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in water quality modeling and assessment
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in water quality modeling and assessment, with a focus on the Canadian mining sector
  • Strong knowledge of water quality modeling software and tools, including EPANET and SWMM
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
